Also included are 300 acres of open space plus hike & bike trails. Upon completion, Lantana will be home to 4 thousand residences. Lantana is served by the Denton Independent School District (DISD).

History of Lantana, TX
Being a Master-Planned Community which began in 1999, Lantana does not have the rich history of most of north Texas’ cities and towns. Before development into a residential community, the land was the Razor Ranch, home to the Razor family, a prominent Denton, TX family.
